You will have a relatively quiet day. You do not leave the Masai Mara Park. Optionally, you can go on a safari, with a picnic in the forest. In the Masai Mara, because of the unique climate conditions, you can see a huge variety of fauna. In this corner of the earth the climate is humid and the soil is extremely fertile. Moreover, two rivers, Mara and Talekh, flow through this territory and even in the dry season they do not dry up.
The course of the river is covered with dense forest, which gradually changes into African bush, and then into savanah. All year round the animals in the Masai Mara Park, a continuation of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, have access to food and water. This is the reason for such a large number of wild animals in the Masai Mara National Park. From July to November, there is a phenomenon known as the "Great Migration", where huge herds of antelope and zebras move from one place to another, from Tanzania to Kenya. They are usually accompanied by predators such as lions, leopards, hyenas and jackals. There are also huge herds of buffalo, reaching up to 200 heads, as well elephants and giraffes that move at high speed from the Serengeti to the Mara to get closer to the water.
- Additionally, these days, you can order a balloon safari, after which you will enjoy a breakfast with a glass of champagne.

After breakfast you will drive to the Serengeti National Park. You will then have a safari, following the road that takes you to SERENGETI IKOMA CAMP, where you arrive for dinner. Translated from the ancient local dialect Serengeti means “endless plains right up to heaven." And it is true: the Serengeti is the most popular and the most fascinating of the beautiful parks located in East Africa. This park covers an area of 14765 square kilometers, and it never stops the movement of cloven-hoofed, large herds that are moving from one place to another in search of new pastures.
Usually after the November heavy rains the herds of the wildebeest migration arrive on the short-grass plains of the Serengeti. Dispersed across these plains, wildebeest and zebra are everywhere – feeding on the fresh, nutritious grasses. They stay here through January, February and March, with most wildebeest calves born in a short window around February. Gradually they spread west across these plains, then around April they start their great migration north. Some of the migration then head due north of Seronera, but most are usually further west. Around June the wildebeest migration is often halted on the south side of the Grumeti River, which has some channels which block or slow their migration north. The wildebeest then congregate there, in the Western Corridor, often building up to a high density before crossing the river. The wildebeest migration continues moving northwards during July and August, often spreading out across a broad front: some heading through Grumeti Reserve and Ikorongo, others north through the heart of the Serengeti National Park. September sees the herds spread out across the northern Serengeti. By October the wildebeest herds are migrating again with more accord: all are heading south, through western Loliondo and the Serengeti National Park's Lobo area, returning to the green shoots which follow the rains on the short-grass plains of the southern Serengeti in November.
