Leisurely morning in Victoria Falls, in the twilight hours, take a sunset cruise
After breakfast, meet with the guide who will take you to the Lion Encounter. You will have the unique experience of walking alongside and interacting with the lions for approximately 1 to 1 ¼ hour. This Lion Encounter is part of a program called Alert, which is Africa's first genuine program to ethically re-introduce the offspring of rehabilitated captive-bred African lions back into the wild, helping safeguard the future of the king of the beasts. You will see is no leashes or collars, just natural African wildlife. The Lion Encounter takes place in the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, 10 minutes from Livingstone. Leisurely afternoon in the hotel. Transfer to Botswana. On arrival in Botswana you will be met by an English-speaking guide and transfer to Chobe. Nestled close to the junction of four countries is the serene location of Chobe. Here there are many relaxing activities that one can engage in. These activities include fly fishing, superb game cruises on the Chobe River, birding and botanical walks and cultural village tours. All these amazing activities are sure to leave you with good impressions, as they suit anyone, from any kind of background. On your arrival to Chobe you will be taken on an afternoon game drive in Chobe National Park. Dinner will be served at the lodge.
Just after you have had your breakfast you will then start your thrilling activities in Chobe National Park. Chobe National Park awaits you with a day filled with wonderful adventures. The day will begin with a safari on the river Chobe, which is a watering hole for various animals. Then you will go on an afternoon safari in a car, in the midst of the African bush. Here the sounds of wildlife excite your imagination. In the silence of the forest, you only hear warbling birds, the cry of baboons and hyenas, the wild laughter and the voices of other animals. In the evening, over a cup of African rooibos tea, you will remember all the adventures of the day and discuss them with your new friends.
Transfer to Okavango Delta. Considered one of Nature's masterpieces, the Okavango Delta offers its visitors an insight into one of Africa's truly great wildernesses. A World Heritage Site, this vast and virtually untouched freshwater wetland lies at the heart of Botswana's arid Kalahari. Yet it supports an abundance of wildlife within a setting of dazzling natural beauty. Protected by the Moremi Game Reserve and numerous private wildlife concessions, the Okavango Delta is home to huge numbers of elephants, buffalos, lions, hippos, giraffes and zebras, plus every kind of antelope you can think of. A predator paradise, the Okavango is a world-famous stronghold for leopards and wild dogs, as well as many rare and unusual mammals and bird species. If it is wildlife you want, an Okavango Delta safari is the best thing you can do.
Yet despite its wild nature, the Okavango Delta is surprisingly accessible and you will certainly get to see it close up: go on guided game drives, bush walks, mokoro (canoe) and boat trips during your safari in the Okavango Delta.
The day will begin with a morning mokoro trip and an island walk. Later during day you will be taken on an the afternoon game drive.
After your breakfast, meet with the guide and continue your journey to Kalahari. Nothing prepares you for the immensity of Central Kalahari Game Reserve (CKGR) and its wild, mysterious beauty. There is the immediate impression of unending space and having the entire reserve to yourself. The Central Kalahari Game Reserve is the largest, most remotely situated reserve in Southern Africa, and the second largest wildlife reserve in the world, encompassing 52 800 sq kms. The Kalahari Game Reserve is more flexible with activities than the neighboring national park: they offer day and night drives and extended walks, all accompanied by qualified guides and Bushman trackers. The English-speaking guide will take you straight to the Lodge, and after that you will proceed with your afternoon game drive in the Kalahari desert. After the safari, dinner will be served and you may relax and prepare yourself for other exciting activities on the following day.
After the breakfast has been served, the guide will be ready to take you to your first safari of the day in the Kalahari. You will proceed with the morning game drive and later you will go for a Bushman walk.
After breakfast is served, you will be transferred to Victoria Falls and spend the night there.
